The State Government steps in as Docklands' film studios look for a new manager

Four years after they opened, Melbourne's state-of-the-art film studios at Docklands are lying almost empty and looking for a new manager. The State Government has paid out $15 million to take control of the studios after the departure of chief executive officer Sino Guzzardi. The Government says the studios have performed well, but the Opposition wants them to open to more public scrutiny.

Kathy Bowlen interviews Victorian Opposition Leader, Ted Baillieu

It's been an eventful and busy year for Victorians and we had hoped to interview the Premier about the issues that have been occupying his Government. In fact, we've been requesting an interview for the past seven weeks, but Mr Brumby has refused to appear on Stateline. Victoria's alternative Premier Ted Baillieu had no such qualms.

Unicyclists attempt The Great Victorian Bike Ride

Thousands of cyclists have converged on Lake Bolak tonight as they near the end of the great Victorian bike ride. It's the 25th year the event has been held and 4,200 people are taking part. But as Vivienne Nunis reports, some of them will find the nine day journey especially challenging.
