Southerly 30/45 knots, reaching 50 knots at times, decreasing to 25/35 knots during the afternoon then decreasing to 20/30 knots by early evening then tending south to southwesterly up to 25 knots later in the evening. Isolated thunderstorms with hail early in the morning.    

Melbourne Bays

South to southwesterly 30/35 knots tending southerly 25/30 knots around dawn then decreasing to 20/25 knots by early evening then decreasing to 15/20 knots later in the evening.  Sea: Up to 2.0 m  

Northern Bass Strait
