The switch to biofuels is proving a harder sell than originally thought.

Despite predictions that half of the world's known oil supplies will soon run-out efforts to get motorists to embrace alternative fuels are proving an up-hill battle. A lack of widespread access and proposed taxes on bio-diesel and ethanol, is making the switch to greener fuel-types difficult.
