Irreverence, wit, humour and the odd tall story are the order of the day when The Coodabeens take the microphone. Jeff Richardson, Ian Cover, Greg Champion and Billy Baxter are the Coodabeens and you can catch them on ABC Radio 6.30 to 9pm on Sunday nights. (AEST)

COLIN HAY!
Colin Hay, from chart topping 80's band, Men at Work, joined the boys in the studio for a chat, a reminisce and some great live music.
Colin recounted that his first gig was through our very own Richo at Beaumaris High School in Melbourne. He was supported throughout his performances by some wonderful harmonies from his wife (and successful musician herself) Cecelia Noel.

SUNDAY NIGHT PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT
As some of you may have heard on the program last Sunday night (21/12), the Coodabeens will now be broadcasting on Saturday Night (7pm to 10pm AEDT) through the summer and Saturday morning through the winter while the ABC goes in a different direction on Sunday nights - including existing sporting fixtures which are being added to all the time.
Billy, Jeff, Ian and Greg have been overwhealmed by all your support and kind words, but want to assure you that many of your favourite segments - mailbag, Magic Moments and Champs songs - will continue on Saturday nights into the future.
The boys are very excited with the direction of the Saturday Soiree through until the end of summer, and hope you will continue to join us all the way through.

The Coodabeens' Theme
The Coodabeen Champions are often asked about the theme music which introduces both their Saturday footy show and the Sunday night program. It is the theme from the movie The Good, The Bad and The Ugly composed by Ennio Morricone. The Coodabeens use the version by Hugo Montenegro and His Orchestra.
