ABC Classic FM is committed to bringing you the very best in Australian musical talent through Sunday Live, a series of live performances around Australia.  Sunday Live is broadcast from a different capital city or regional centre each month, introduced onstage by ABC Classic FM presenters.

ANNA MCDONALD and ROSALIND HALTON

Anna McDonald is one of Australia’s foremost baroque and classical/romantic violinists performing chiefly on period instruments. She has performed with many leading European orchestras, including leading the Gabrieli Consort, the Hanover Band and the Basel Chamber Orchestra. Originally from New Zealand, harpsichordist Rosalind Halton is currently Associate Professor in Music at the University of Newcastle. The duo’s program today includes Bach’s Sonata in G for violin and basso continuo, BWV1021 and Sonata in D minor, Op 2 No 3, RV14 from Vivaldi.
