Tonight the National Music Camp 2009's Richard Mills Chamber orchestra, under the direction of Irish violinist Fionnuala Hunt, begins the concert with Bartók’s Divertimento for Strings. The NMC’s Bishop Orchestra, led by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Chief Conductor James Judd, plays James Ledger’s Fall from grace. The concert concludes with the Alexander Orchestra, led by French conductor Francois-Xavier Roth, with Nielsen’s Symphony No.4, Inextinguishable.
