Help me! The games on this website require 2 "plug-ins"
If you don't have these plug-in's you will need to download them
for these websites.
Download and Install the AxelPlayer plug-in
The AxelPlayer for Internet plug-ins is available for free from
the MindAvenue website, from here.
You'll need to download the first one "AxelPlayer for Internet".
Then follow the instructions on the left.
Download and Install the Quicktime plug-in
The Quicktime plug-in is available for free at the Apple website. Click here to go to
the Quicktime download page and follow the instructions for downloading
the software. Once the Quicktime Installer file is saved onto your
computer, double click on it and follow the instructions for installing
the software.
If you have any difficulties or are not sure whether you have installed
the Quicktime plug-in correctly, we recommend that you visit Apple's
Quicktime
solving problems page.
What's a plug-in?
A plug-in is a small application that lets you view special presentations.
They can be animations, movies or audio. In this case the plug-ins
lets you view the animation of the characters and play their interactive
games. Quicktime is an animation plug-in, and Axel is a 3D animation
plug-in. Both are required to play the games.
Audio
The games on this site have audio instruction so that children
can listen to what they have to do. So if you have speakers, make
sure they're turned on, and at a suitable volume.
Download and Install the Flash or Shockwave
Player
The Flash and Shockwave Players are available for
free from the Macromedia website. Click here
to go to the Download page then follow Macromedia's instructions
for downloading and installing the software, it is very easy to
do. (NOTE: You must download the Shockwave and Flash Player not
the Authorware Web Player).
Most people have no problem installing the Shockwave and Flash player,
however if you're having difficulties, or you are just not sure if you
have installed the player correctly, we recommend that you visit the Shockwave
and Flash Player installation support
page.
